You know it just like me, weigth and lower center of gravity are just a few examples what make a car fast around a track. Diablo is an old car and hardly a "state of art". Except for SLR and CLKDTM, the SL versions are handling excellent, they are underestimated. Just look at M6, its an heavy car but manage to do it in 1.14,4 min. I believe next M3 will be faster than the M6. Also there is a reason why F1 cars weigh as less as possible. Weight is an heavy issue on tracks and it aint a secret.
