Does VAG have a 1.4 Twin Turbo (not the supercharger and turbo engine)

I know VAG has a 1.4 turbo, and a 1.4 twincharger which has a turbo and a supercharger, but has VAG now also developed a 1.4 twin turbo engine that produces 180hp, as on the SEAT media center website it says that the new ibiza cupra has a all new 1.4 twinturbo engine with 180hp, and I think they must have got that wrong.

Can anyone confirm this?

I don't have much info but it is highly unlikely that engineers will have a small 4 cylinder petrol engine with twin turbos, unless they are sequential, but I highly doubt it.

I don't know Poverty, that engine would've been big news in anyone's books and yet we've heard nothing. I surmise that the SEAT website refers to a Twincharger engine tuned to 180 hp.

Yeah thats pretty much what I reckoned. It also wouldnt make sense for VAG to have 3 so similiar engines.
