| Re: Quattro vs X-Drive Is it a question of life or death? If you drive a car with X-drive or 4-matic will your life be at stake as compared to driving in a Quattro? I don't think so. So how do you evaluate awd? On how they switch from wheel to wheel when it need be? Which one is lighter than the other? Which ones puts the least amount of strain on the car, engine, etc.? I am looking for a criteria on how you would evaluate AWD when it comes to X-Drive, 4-Matic, and QUattro?

Regarding this test, is it even a legitimate one done by a manufacturer? I could easily say that they dissmantled the Audi's AWD system, because, in all honesty, that's what it looked like. | |

| Re: Quattro vs X-Drive Here is a News show that compared xdrive, quattro and all others. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...6503&q=quattro Theres an X5 tested as well as a 3 series(I think) and the audi is the Allroad. The Isuzu Trooper is the only one that is on par with the Allroad.
