I think you might be right. At high altitudes, like way above 1000 feet, like in some places at the N-Ring the turbo's can do magic and then the GT2 might have a chance. Both the GT-R and GT2 have had their best acceleration and quarter mile times at way above 1000 feet of sea level.

It's not just the engine my friend, the ZR1 has many other tweaks as well. The engine alone didn't bring it to the lap time it has gotten on the ring.
