It's more like dominating the premium luxury segment. There is barely any type of car which BMW or Audi offer which MB doesn't offer.

Well niether Audi nor BMW has cars that has over 600hp but MB has quite alot,now we're talking about an insane power that ranges from 600-1000 and that is super uber sportscars territory not the premium luxury,MB is indeed on the way of being the dominator once again!

Don't bet on the Gullwing to cost south of $350K. The vehicle referred to as the SLC may end up close to 200, but not the gullwing. It is a marketing thing, although it is bound to cost less to produce than the SLR.

Mercedes has come back with a vengeance. But everyone is, in fact, on their A game these last couple of years. Competition is a great thing, and the customer will see the benefit...

My god, what hell is that!?!?!? This is getting confusing though because there is no way MB should do another 350K sports car after the SLR didn't fly. 200K should be the limit along with the 620hp. I'm not sure I like this car being shown, but it definitely will cause a stir if priced right. Maybe the SLC is really going to be what the DBS is to the DB9 or a Black Series version of the next SL? The scary part is that those test mule spy shots are longish like this red car. Gulp!

I doubt that the new MB supercar will cost the same as the SLR. Supercars for 100-200 is at the moment the most lucrative segment. MB is a very profit oriented and can't sell limited super cars in the same for 450k. They want to sell thousands of them which effects the car negatively. My guess is that the new car will cost 250k tops but I hope under 200k.
