Not sure if this has been posted, but here's a story from WCF..

Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing images leaked.


The leaks are starting to flow. Just within the past week we saw the latest spy photos of an SLS Gullwing in grey, more official "teaser" images were published, and today rumours of an SLS Gullwing electric vehicle is slated for 2015. But the day isn't over yet and another very legitimate looking image revealing the front and rear design details has surfaced.

Here we have two very different versions of the same grainy image. The first of which is clearly a magazine cover with a bonus rear shot, our guess is Autobild, and the second version from Autowerald.com in The Netherlands is the source image without the clutter.



WCF sources state the images are genuine. Judging from the generic studio background and lack of computer touch-up work, they could be preview images for dealers or existing clientele. Additionally, the type of low resolution picture quality, even visible on the magazine cover version, suggests the source images are from a printed brochure or magazine and then captured using a mobile phone camera.

It doesn't look good from that angle .. it looks Japaneese and not in a good way.

I appreciate the design- IMO looks modern yet retro. However, official hi res pics will tell the whole story, and I have a feeling that we'll be seeing them soon.

I have a feeling that this car would be MUCH MUCH better when you sense it IRL ... Pics might make it srtreched .. Viper roofline gives this weird vipe ..

I wonder if the doors are easy to open after a side-impact accident. The windows don't exactly loo large enough for someone to crawl out of.

I'm telling y'all - that's it. All the angles and door proportions add up.

Uhm, that grainy E class pic is, as you can see, the new E class. But whatever. We keep getting in this arguement all the time so it's no use

Like what then??? That's 99.99999999% the new W212, everybody can see that Just like with the interior of the 7er, the interior and exterior of the new A8, the bumper of the F10 5er, etc.


Can't wait to see you eat those words It looks spectacular! I only have to get used to the headlights still, but that will turn out fine. They're much better than the fused eye SLR look.

Wow! really good looking front,i had my doubts but this is just off the hook!

The quality of if, the perspective... something... I don't know, it does not look right.
