And a Roadster.. 1-2 years or so

PS
I can tell you it looks sweet as hell.. thats all..
Where did you get all of this? Do you know something we don't know?

Excellent post Alwing

Anyway, I totally agree with Martinbo on this one. I too don’t like the design of the CGT, especially the interior. What is the gear shifter doing on the dash? It reminds me so much of the Lexus RX’s or the Toyota Sienna’s interiors.
Yes, I applaud its performance, but the SLR makes my heart beat faster every time I see one.

Remember Luwalira’s thread asking if super cars were safe? The SLR would be the safest of them all, it will win hands down without a doubt. There’s no doubt in my mind that MB did the right thing with the SLR, it’s not flawed at all IMO. The SLR is in a different league if you ask me and that’s what MB wanted with it. I don’t need to tell you what’s so special about ‘cause you probably heard/read it hundreds of times by now.
Some of you need to relax and take it easy on the SLR

What a total load of rubbish Yaz, what are you basing those opinions on - the SLR is by far the most "ordinary" of the supercars - for Gods sake the designers even considered such things as luggage space and ease of access - no self respecting supercar designer would ever normally care about such things

I think the SLR probably was a great initial concept - but thanks to several long, boring, board meetings with a bunch of old guys who wanted space for their golf clubs, any dreams that Mercedes would produce the world's greatest supercar were soon destroyed - the SLR appears to have been hindered by people who don't fully understand the concept of a supercar.

Any timetable as to when we'll see these changes or when they'll be announced?

Roberto and Stuttgarter thank you for putting in words what I wanted to say all along.
I'm so pissed off that because english is not my native language I cannot fully express myself.
And here is another question, why use the SLR moniker ?!
