I am having a heart-attack. i think the RS4 and such look totally different the the other models.................the A8 IMO has a timelss design.......audi is a conservative car make..............were as mercedes is the complete and total opposite...maybe thats ure tast AMG-Unit.......you like the radical designs.

Radical ? when has MB's design been radical . I got the perfect three words for MB design and learn them well : Clean , buff , and sexy .I gave you three words because one is not enough .

By the way , RADICAL ? You find that at BMW .

I also thought they did a nice job on this car. The interior is really great too. Testdrove the car quite some time back. Very nice.
As beautiful as they are, with MB I think I will always stick to something like E that I already have for the comfort and superb driving experience, for the conditions that I drive 99% of the time. For an exciting little sportscar, for that other 1%, I think I'd go with their cousins on the other side of the town.

Count me in as a fan of the littlest Mercedes roadster. They really did their homework on this one. The interior build quality alone puts the SLK in with me. Then there is the styling, engines, top, and the list goes one. Such a swank little car! Up next a SLK63 with about 440hp in my estimation. Then there is the AMG F1 Package or Designo if you like. A great little roadster no one can deny!

I love Audis too, all of them except the TT. They can only tune a FWD Golf chassis so much. The next TT will likely be a looker with the typically stellar interior that Audi is know for, but on the road it can forget it. The SLK and Z4 are true RWD cars, not FWD models with AWD added to compensate.

Interesting. When I had the pleasure of driving SLK's, I did notice that the Varioroof was pretty quiet: except it never occured to me that it's the quietest roof in its class!
