|  Re: Next-gen Mercedes SLK to feature diesel engine I get 25-28 MPG (US) around town and 28-34 MPG on the highway. That is when I keep my foot off the throttle and use the excellent cruise control. However, the worst I have gotten is 22MPG.  The best was from Chicago to Southern Alabama. That was 35+. When I get my 350 I think I'll stay with gas. However, for those who still think diesel is a 2d cousin, got to an LMS/ALMS race and watch the Audi R10/15!  |
