Well, the brake assembly on the pres pictures of the SL600 don't look like an 8 piston unit. I read the press release and it's supposed to have the 8 unit. This SL600 looks more like an SL500 with the V12 rims and badges. Did anyone else knowtice this?

It could just be a photoshop?

I believe you. Rather I was pointing out that the brake assembly on the SL600 was in fact not the 8 piston unit, rather the same assembly as found on the SL500. It looks like MB rebadeged a SL500 for the SL600 photo shoot.

This is the kind of conservative beauty that MB should be heading towards.
