I have had a drivers license for just about 60 years so I have seen a lot of cars come and go. Some I owned 4-5 years and some less than 9 months... The only used car I ever bought was the 1950 Studebaker Champion, my first car. My first new car was a 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 Hardtop and that began the love affair with cars...:-)

I know the S550 was eventually bought by an MBWorld member and recognized it as Jack's S550. Now that's something .

Well, I cannot disagree with the results. All three of these cars are winners and all have that 5.5 liter engine with the 7G tranny... they all look different and ride different, but that power train is the best. After driving the SL for a couple of weeks I like it the best because of it's size. The S550 was like a limo and the GL was just too big... the SL is perfect for my needs.

We will have to try the SLR 722 and see if that changes the results...
