But any doubts about the Germans will vanish after you check out this video. Even this 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL550 has got some serious moves down. A dancing Benz? Yep. It’s actually the two-seater’s Active Body Control at work, explains Hans Multhaupt, the Mercedes executive who oversaw the development of the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL. Those rascally German engineers recorder some music on a laptop computer and connected it to the suspension’s digital control system which, to be honest, can’t tell the difference between a piano and a pothole. But the effect just might be good enough to get this SL550 a spot on Dancing With the Stars, even if it’s just driving some of the human celebrities home after taping.
