| Re: Facelifted or Pre-Facelifted Mercedes SL? The death of the fan boy. I'm jumping to the other sid eof the river to join those unhappy with the new model. This has to be the first time a face lift is a down grade in looks. Mercedes has disappointed, the face lift just looks new but is not beautiful. If you ask me the new SL can't come soon enough.  Just look at how beautiful this is.   Let's just hope that the SLC is a mean looking ride other wise I'm done with the generation SL. |

Well, the facelifted SL looks great - except the front. The grille is "ok" but those headlights just mega bother me. I think this SL should have been released with the same headlights as before. There are other ways of "refreshing" a car and actually making it pleasant looking! This is my opinion of course. I just don't like the new look. Maybe if I see it in real life I will change my mind, but right now it's not growing on me.
