GTA, there indeed is more room in the 3er coupe than in a 6er. Headroom and legroom in particular. The 6er feels more high tech than this, because of options like AFS and Dynamic Drive. Also, the materials in the 6er are a whole class better, as is the sound system (I don't think you can have Logic 7 in the 3er???).
However, the 3er feels more nimble and, dare I say it, more fun to drive....in particular with a manual gearbox I think.
I seriously consider one, but I think the M3 version this time

And the cable is for the iPod indeed. What I missed though, was a nice user interface for my iPod in the iDrive screen. The was nothing to see on the LCD screen, other than AUX OUT. No titles, no nothing
You can definitely get Logic7 on the 3er. In the US, it came standard with the 330i and 335i. As for the Ipod, you have to get a separate module, but it can be done.

Wow, so I was right about the leg room! I find that a little strange though.
You say the 6er has more hi-tech features and the materials are better which would be the case in a more up-scale model, but the 3er is "more fun to drive" in this case I`d go with the 335.. wait for the
V8 powered M3, that car is going to be a serious kick in the pants.. I`m looking forward to it.

Love the interior. Thank God BMW is starting to mix it up with the standard trims.

The car aint half bad either.
