***Taufkirchner Classic Car Show*** Part 4

BADASS, just badass.

Audi 80 Sport

Ford Mustang and Buick Wildcat

Opel Diplomat

VW Karman Ghia

Volvo Estate

BMW Alpina C1 2.7: The chick in this car was a MILF.

OFFICIAL CORVETTE PACE CAR INDIANAPOLIS MAY 28, 1978. Can anyone confirm this? Or is this guy a POSER?

Mercedes 280SL 4-speed manual with a FUGLY bodykit. FUGLY.

Opel Manta A

This Buick Wildcat was hot: and HUGE! How the hell can you drive around in such things!? What's fuel economy on this thing!? The sheet of paper in the car said this thing had a 7-liter V8! :mask:

Mercedes SE Coupe again. I just love these so much. So classy and beautiful.

Cadillac DeVille from the late 1950s. Those fins were sharp. No wonder Nader got pissed.

Horch 853 Sport Cabriolet. Pre-World War II German luxury brand that later got sucked into the whole Auto Union, NSU etc. thing and eventually became Audi. 'Horch' in German means "to listen". Audi is Latin for "listen".

Old tractor and motorcycle show next door. Not crazy about either so I hardly took pics.

Original BMW Zündapp motorcycle as used by the German Army in World War II.

HOPE YOU LIKED THE PICS!

Re: ***Taufkirchner Classic Car Show*** Part 4

That Buick Wildcat is the same model that I displayed with my boat a week or two ago...the 1963 convertible model. All cars back then were a mile long with big engines. I had a 65 Buick Roadmaster Convetible and the think was a tank...just huge. My 59 Oldsmobile Converible was just as big...I traded it for a 1960 Covette (the classic model not the stingray) and my mother-in-law thought we were nuts, and we probably were..:-) 2nd gear in that Corvette was a killer...it just took off like a rocket!

Nice group of pics Chris...saw some others similar to others that I owned in the mix. Had a '79 450SL and a Volvo 240 Wagon and a '80 240D also. We loved cars and boats and I am glad we did the things we did together when we were younger since she is no longer here to enjoy them. Today is her birthday...

Sorry to get personal but fun with cars were a big part of our relationship. She would have loved the S....

Thanks for the info.

Glad you liked the pictures and I hope those Buick shots brought back memories. Oh, and thanks again for the S550 pics.
