Wow what a day. It all began when I was walking on my way to put more money in the parking meter where my moms car was parked and saw a 993TT, a 356 and some older 911s driving by a 50 meter in front of me.
When I had reached the zebra which crosses that road I saw even more porsche cars coming from the right. I keep on walking along side the road to the left towards my moms cars and there were STILL cars driving my and I was now seeing boxters and Cayennes in all different colours. Walking to the car while my head was turned towards the road I actually stumbled over, hurt my left knee, got myself embaresed and dropped my ipod which now has some rather nasty scratches on it.

Anyhow there was traffic lights on the road and a green Cayenne stopped which gave me a chance to ask the driver where the hell all the cars where heading. Funny enough the driver didn't respond to my swedish question and I therefor had to repeat the question in english. They where are heading to an underground parking of a fancy hotel. I rushed towards the hotel which was 300m away. On my way I spotted several employees from Porsche club which told me that an international gather is what's going on.

Cars from all over Europe and even the US participated in the take over. In a whole the number of participating Porsche cars were between 200-300. They simply took my little home town of a mere 500 000 inhabitants.
There were even convoys of cars in the same colour driving around. The sight was insane and unbelievable. Porsche cars all over the place and off course the rednecks where also welcome with their 6k Porsche 928 and 944. No discrimination there

If I had known about the event I would have taken a proper camera with me and taken tons of pictures. Luckily I had my cellphone with me but managed only to take a few pictures since I had for some stupid reason taken out the memory card.

On the other hand I am as a Porsche fan very happy to have been able to have witnessed such a view. Other cars I was a black 360 spider and a black Gallardo. Then I also saw a Porsche hungry M5 with ACS rims which was very prosche hungry and tried to break the convoy or Porsche cars. The BMW badge on the boot lid was replaced with some wack ass badge with some canibis leaf on it. I didn't have enough time to have a good look at it and since it was a Porsche day I didn't bother fotograf it.

I would totally flip out if I saw a Carrera GT on the road and I can understand that you dropped your Ipod
