I just finished a one hour drive on the highway today.
I met a Gallardo followed by a E55. Lamborghinis are extremly rare to see on the roads in Sweden, so I got very exited to see one. You simply cant miss them on the roads. This one was orange and thats a extremly noticable colour, what a presence. I already seen two F430 on the roads but its the first time I see a Gallardo.
We talk a lot about M5, E55 , M3, C55 but its when you see a Ferrari or a Lamborghini then you know that they are very special cars, much more than MB and bimmers.

During my one hour drive I also met four Porsche 996, MB CLS, EVO8, new Ford Mustang and Corvette C6.

Since I drove on the highway there are no pictures on them but the orange Gallardo stole my heart today

I dont know but since year 2000 it looks like sportcars are getting popular in Sweden, more people got more money these days I guess.

Hahaha I feel your enthusiasm, I don't see exotic here in gothenburg that often but for two weeks ago I saw the F430 for the first time, it was a red one. It was my friend who sat with me int he car who spotted it and pointed where it was driving. You should have seen us, we screamed like hell and my heart was pumping like a dog was chasing me or somthing. We almost crashed but damn that car was a beautiful sight. For the rest of the day I couldn't function properly and was thinking about the car even when I woke up the day after.

yep sweden is getting a real taste for expensive wheels.. back in the 90´s all cars on the roads here where catastrophic

During the 90s people could afford exotic but due to social norms it became tasteless to buy 911s and Ferraris like lots of bankers did in the 80s. Futher more you can't even by a German luxury car here in Sweden without all your neigbours and close friends getting jelous and start going on about the car being a waste of money and that it is a gas guzzler. The Swedish jealousy is intense.

yep thats the one. Its a lovely car you own. Its a shame you and me live in different country, if not Im certain you would offer me a ride in your car

I suppose flaunting your wealth never was a part of Lutheran ethics.... same thing in Finland, but with the exception that it used to be even worse than in Sweden. Even in the yuppie era anything more expensive than a W124 or a 5-series was considered bad taste. It's a bit different nowadays, people are actually buying things like Ferraris and Lambos and Bentleys... not that many around but at least it's possible to spot them every now and then.

There is an orange Gallardo like that in Lund(about where I live) and also a Murcielago with pretty much the same colour. Simply breathtaking to see
