Dont take this the wrong way or anything, just a question to cure my curisosity. Do people there trade with camels?

When one of my ex girlfriends were in some middle east country(don't remember really, but some country with camels) her parents got offered 20 camels if they gave her to them. I've heard a similar story for one of my brothers friends as well.
