Father and Son: Mercedes E55 AMG and Mercedes W221 S-Class. The son drives the E55 AMG while the dad (a pilot) drives the S-Class. Both work for the same company to. Their last name begins with "F", which explains the license plates.

Great pic! You can see the design change clearly. For example the new features like "Bangle butt", shark fin antenna, fenders, sharper window line, body stripes on tail lights etc.

Yep. BTW, I don't think the S-Class rear should be called "Bangle Butt" because it was inspired from the Maybach prototype which was around since 1996.

It did occur to me that the name "Bangle Butt" might be commonly used for these things - even on non-BMW's. Thanks however for teaching me something new.
One of my drivers recovered a 599 GTB on Thursday - I should have some pictures, which he has taken on his mobile phone, by next week at the latest. He told me that it looked a lot better IRL than it did in the pictures. This particular car was black with yellow calipers.
