  | ***Taufkirchen Classic Firetruck Show (Part 2)*** It was an interesting event not only because of the cars but also because of the many firefighting veterans who were present. These guys, all well into their late 60s and 70s, now have big beer bellies and were drinking beer, telling stories about the “old days” and just having a good time. It was always interesting listening in to their conversations.  BMW 502 "Feuerwehr Command" Car       Steyr TLF A 2000 all the way from Austria     Here's the Horch! Where are the Audi fans!?         1928 Opel Firetruck in service until 1967 in a farm community called Nöham.           This is what German beer can do to you...any ideas?    And here we have some of the neat emblems of the local firefighting departments around the Mühldorf region.          The End
