Year: April, 2008 Location: USA, California Places: San Francisco, Fresno, Yosemite, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, San Diego, Sea World, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, Highway 1, Alcatraz Vehicle: Ford Escape Timeline: 15 days Photos: 67 (part II, III, IIII coming later on!) (total of 10 Gb photos and videos were taken during two weeks) Videoclips: Coming later! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Somewhere in California  Yosemite, National Park      On the road again   Las Vegas. This is the hotel were we spend two nights in, Excalibur.   First morning in Las Vegas, a view outside our hotel room  Sightseeing in Las Vegas      Stratosphere Las Vegas, 1,149 ft (350 m) up in the air   Enjoying a New York Steak in Las Vegas. Delicious!  Part II Hoover Dam   Here you can see how high the waterline usually is.  Here you can see they are building a new road for the trucks. Very high bridge, must be a great view.  On the way to Grand Canyon  Grand Canyon. What an awesome view. Windy and cold when we were there. Jacket and a warm sweater was a must.      Next stop. San Diego. I like this city a lot. Good weather and lovely place to visit. Here is USS Midway, aircraft carrier. From World War II.    I always wanted to be a pilot. Closest I will ever get. I felt like Tom Cruise from Top gun.   Another aircraft carrier. I dont remember the name. Perhaps President Reagan?  San Diego. The sun going down   From Sea World, Killer whales      Hollywood, where is the glamour? not what I expected and I didnt see any celeberties either.   Beverly Hills, many nice and big houses. Exclusive cars everywhere. I want to live there   I really liked Santa Barbara. Cosy and pleasent visit. I can see myself spending my vacation here during the summer.   On the road again  Highway 1, a very beautiful place and exciting roads  Sealions relaxing and enjoying the sun on the Highway 1       We spent one night on Highway 1 in this cottage before moving on the next day.  Next part IIII: San Fransisco, Alcatraz |

Yosemite is a gorgeous place, I never saw that much green when I lived in California. I need to go back! |
