On the road again

Las Vegas. This is the hotel were we spend two nights in, Excalibur.

Part II

Hoover Dam

Here you can see how high the waterline usually is.

Here you can see they are building a new road for the trucks. Very high bridge, must be a great view.

On the way to Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon. What an awesome view. Windy and cold when we were there. Jacket and a warm sweater was a must.

Next stop. San Diego. I like this city a lot. Good weather and lovely place to visit. Here is USS Midway, aircraft carrier. From World War II.

I always wanted to be a pilot. Closest I will ever get. I felt like Tom Cruise from Top gun.

Another aircraft carrier. I dont remember the name. Perhaps President Reagan?

Hollywood, where is the glamour? not what I expected and I didnt see any celeberties either.

Beverly Hills, many nice and big houses. Exclusive cars everywhere. I want to live there

I really liked Santa Barbara. Cosy and pleasent visit. I can see myself spending my vacation here during the summer.

On the road again

We spent one night on Highway 1 in this cottage before moving on the next day.

Next morning and continue driving on Highway 1

Driving through Napa Valley. The famous wine country. Shame I didnt find Falcon Crest

Back in San Fransisco to stay a few days before going back home to Sweden. Nice view over the Golden Gate bridge.

The last day. Back to the airport and returning the rental car. Messy car. Two weeks later through California and this is what the car looked like.
