We did drive through Malibu but we never stopped. Never saw any celeberties at all during the roadtrip. Nice cars though.
I have never seen so many Rolls-Royce in my whole life but in US they are all over the place. Only saw one single Maybach in "Santa Barbara".
Before I came to US I only seen two or three Aston Martin in my whole life but in the California they were all over the country. Seem to be very popular over there.
I have a funny video clip of a guy working out on the beach in Santa Monica. No offense to him but it looked ridicolous.
Ps We also did a quick stop in Beverly Hills. | | | | | Devotee

Let me guess, it's a HD clip that accounts for 9.9 GB of all the 10 GB of pictures and videos. Just kidding of course. Awesome pics Andreas, please post more soon. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to bmer For This Useful Post: | | | Advocate

I'll be definitely staying on the strip, specifically at The Mirage. I will be there for 6 days, 1 day visiting the Grand Canyon, and just wanted to know if I should visit any restaurants there , planning to gain a few pounds over there.
Thanks in advance
P.S Have you visited Lamborghini Las Vegas? I heard that there was a Bugatti Veyron there on display. I have never seen a Veyron in real life and wanted to take this chance to see one. | I have never been to the Lambo dealer in town, but have driven by it several times since it is right next to the freeway.
There are plenty of restaurants that are very good, plenty of good steak houses.
If you plan on going to any night club, Pure is nice, I have heard good things about Tao, I found LAX a little crouded. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Gullwing For This Useful Post: | | | Expert

Hoover Dam
Here you can see how high the waterline usually is. Here you can see they are building a new road for the trucks. Very high bridge, must be a great view. On the way to Grand Canyon
Grand Canyon. What an awesome view. Windy and cold when we were there. Jacket and a warm sweater was a must. Next stop. San Diego. I like this city a lot. Good weather and lovely place to visit. Here is USS Midway, aircraft carrier. From World War II. I always wanted to be a pilot. Closest I will ever get. I felt like Tom Cruise from Top gun. Another aircraft carrier. I dont remember the name. Perhaps President Reagan?

Actually the waterline is the top of the spillways, it has only reached that line a few times, it is normally lower then that, but not this low. Yes over the past two years they have found bodies (from the mob days) as the water level dropped.
The bypass bridge will be nice, but it hasn't made much progress the past two years.
Did you see any ghosts while on the Midway? | | | | | Trendsetter
