  | ***Another AWESOME DAY in Munich*** Was in Munich yesterday meeting a guy from another forum. Here are some cars I saw. It as a good day (again).  Spotted four (4) Audi RS4's that day. Here they are... Audi RS4 1  Audi RS4 2  Audi RS4 3  Audi RS4 4 - the best one! Photographed it right infront of the cops! Wimmer is a badass! Wimmer has no fear of the law! Bring it on!   Aston Martin Lagonda - wow, you don't see that everyday!         Ford Mustang GT   Porsche 996 Turbo - with hot MILFish lady owner.    Maserati GT   Mercedes-Benz S-Class from Switzerland and new Porsche Cayenne infront of the Munich Opera House.    Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG    VW Passat & BMW 7-Series Taxi  BMW 1-Series Convertible   Porsche Cayenne Turbo  Jaguar XKR  MB S-Classes    Volkswagen Phaeton  Mercedes-Benz CLS & Medic Smart   Lancia Thesis  Classic Mercedes-Benz W123 "Taxi"    Audi S5  I thought this was cool. In the foreground a private E-Class while behind it the taxi spec version.  BMW M3 Convertible  Audi S8   Mercedes W210 E55 AMG & Porsche  Various Police Cars! Mercedes-Benz V-Class Police Van  BMW 3er Touring Polizei  Another BMW 3er Touring Polizei  Volkswagen Caravelle Polizei  BMW 3er Touring & Volkswagen Caravelle Polizei  BMW E39 5er  Audi A4 & BMW 3er Polizei   Last but not least, who PWNS the German taxi market? Say it, say the name!        It was another good day!

| Re: ***Another AWESOME DAY in Munich*** Awesome day, Christian!! But SORRY - it's just a "normal" ML with AMG Sportpackage - can not find the AMG quad exhaust system.  But great photos, anyway. Just wanted to correct that. And the W210 55 AMG - is it really one??!! I thought it also has a visible exhaust?!

You can also order the E 63 AMG without the quad exhaust to make it more decent - maybe the guy wanted to get a monster with more understatement!! Looks still agressive.

At first I thought this was some suped up ML when I saw the rear, but when I heard the engine sound it just "felt and sounded like a pure AMG". I might be wrong of course, but from what I heard and felt, it was an AMG.

I want to ask, how basic are those taxi spec E-class, are they even more basic than the Classic version? How much do they cost compare to the normal spec E?

Well before we venture in depth about the taxis, it has to be mentioned that MB offers three distinctive trim options for the C- and E-Classes: Classic - base trim Elegance - luxury trim Avantgarde - luxury / sport trim All of these trims are available to both private consumers and commercial consumers. That means a taxi company could buy an E200 CDI Avantgarde for example. Generally though the most common E-Class taxi is a Classic trim variant. They generally come standard with automatic transmission and the necessary taxi equipment (fare counter etc.). Think of it as a watered down Elegance trim variant without the chrome on the exterior mainly. Check out the link Ree posted!
