I saw a Mercedes SL 65 AMG finished in designo chromaflair purple. It was unfortunatly driving in the other direction but looked/sounded amazing. Im 99% certain it was a 65, if not it was definitly an AMG with grey alloys. It is owned by a wealthy man around my area, who also owns CL55AMG, Porsche 997 Turbo and Cayenne Turbo S. Hope to see it again

I got invited to see the new accord at a Honda dealership not too far from me as my father owns the now previous Accord, 04 plated. I looked at the new one and was very impressed actually, it looks very good from the outside especially with the much lower front end and revised front lights. The interior was kinda like the Civic, but not quite as over the top as such, and the specification levels were brilliant, rear parking cam, sat nav etc.

My main problem was the fact that, this is much more expensive than the previous generation, and admittedly you do get good spec, but Honda make you pay £500 for metallic paint. Why? They give you a rear park camera, but not metallic paint?! Also, some options were restricted on the 2.0 litre version, but according to the salesman this is the engine they would be pushing for sales. Confusing!

The doors are light and do not convey a sense of security. The interior is disappointing as hard plastics and poor tactile switches & knobs abound... Probably the only plus I can see in the interior are the instrumentation, they are pretty fanciful and clear. Otherwise, it's a major letdown. It may look good from pictures but in real life it is anything but.

One thing I have to say though... The 6 is the best looking Mazda in the past few years.

Yep, I make exactly the same experience. I sat in a car with leather interior – and the leather smelled cheap. It didn't even feel like leather - more like a cheap imitation.

These were spotted a while ago, and not on the same day, with crappy camera phone. I was blown away by how nice the 599 looked in real life, stunning. The owner of the Gallardo didn't opt for the pearl white paint, which is a little disappointing.
