And Eni, you have to control your emotions and not taking it personal and being rude to members or telling them to switch brand if they dont like what BMW are doing. I understand its not easy sometimes but show us your mature side. Eni, you are a member like anyone else, you have the same rights as us so you are entitled to express your opinion but do it what majority of the members do, meaning in a good, positive way.

Scott having his own section is no problem, if you guys dont like what he is writting in his channel, then avoid that section. And those few members who are against Eni/Scott, read between the lines and dont take their words literally. You decide what you want to believe in.

All in all, if Scott posts only in BMW sections and Eni show us his good side and try to understand not everyone approve what BMW are doing, then GCZ will be fine.
That pretty much sums up everything I was intending to say in this thread.

I approve of CM and what they do in the BMW sections, in that section they provide me the exact information I seek. But else where, especially in the VAG or MB sections they contribution is nothing but negative. Scott in particular need to follow the advice of our good old mothers "I you don't have anything positive to say, then don't speak at all". Every single one of his posts outside the BMW sections follow the same riddle of trying to put the competitors down while attempting to raise the profile of BMW and that what they are doing is the right and only path in life. I'd go as far as stamping his as a troll because he's 100% biased and has nothing but negativity to say about MB and VAG/PAG. It does not need to be like that, this is not them3post.com or e46fanatics. Scott and Eni do not need to abuse what their powers or what they've been given -- moderator status and a CM channel.

rurella will become famous soon enough
EnI can be overly "aggressive" and condescending at times and I would prefer that he tones it down a notch, but they are his opinions and his entitled to them.

Scott and EnI are both overly sensitive to criticism.

In my view, we should have known that EnI was a moderator in this area and in general, I think it's a bad idea (fox minding the hen-house).

And although I get quite annoyed from time to time by some of their posts, in total, their contributions cannot be denied and most are helpful and appreciated.

They should absolutely stay.

Most of the 'inside info' we get from the CM team is much appreciated. Banning them would be a immature thing to do.

However sometimes I have my doubts. about the credibility of their reports. e.g. in the shock thread Scott announced that the 'shock' car was the concept of the forthcoming 6er GT and then later ENI claimed it was a 5 year old clay model. When I questioned the contradicting reports my post was deleted. This really pissed me off. I still haven't received a valid reason as to why my post was deleted. These kinds of 'clean up' jobs aggrevate me.

With regards to Eni, I appreciate how he sometimes goes into great detail to elaborate his posts, his input as a member is also immense but I would request him to swallow the condescending attitude which flourishes at times and and show a bit more respect for fellow members.

It's not a question of whether CM should be banished. To me it's more a matter of change in attitude and character.

I dont think admin was asking us if we want them to go away
No one wants that..not even me..who dont think they bring anything AT ALL (more than any other member) to the table..
cause i dont read that marketing shit..
the other brands here dont have cm members..and the discussions around those brands are doing just fine.. or lets say even better than the discussions concerning bmw..
But im all for the community.. and free speach.. so i would never vote for them to be banned..

Its just the mod thing that annoys me.. its like one member said: Fox minding the hen house..

And i hate the fact that they barge into each and every thread and start talking about how great and best bmw is..

So once again it seems like the forum is united in its verdict..

But what interests me is the measurs admin will take to make this happen..
Will he tell eni to stop littering every thread?
Its not a easy task..for admin..
In the end i think both scott and eni must realise the love they get from the forum and pay it back with some respect..
This is a matter they can ONLY change by themselfs not something admin can force them to..

Both EnI and Scott are cool. Yes, they may favor BMW "all the time", but nothing is wrong with that. A good amout of members do the same for Benz. I've seen "a few" other moderators play god and actually delete peoples post or try to get them banned because they don't agree with them. Now that is more of a problem they anything EnI and Scott do.

EnI and Scott are very informative and should keep doing what their doing. Plus they don't try to flaunt their authority (atleast from what I've seen). The information that they provide adds to the value of GCZ.

EnI and Scott

to be frank Eni is no less condescending, hypocritical, snotty or what have you than a major segment of our hyperactive poster scene. i could name 10 other members who would easily fit the description that has been stuck on Eni of late. yet no other member has received such criticism.

whereas eni provides us with interesting, useful, information, even if hidden or "creatively" embellished, the other members pprovide us with nothing more than incessant prebusbescent drooling and adamant bigotry.

why should eni (and scott) be on trial here? why not myself? or any of the other members of this forum be it they qualify for arrogance or what have you?

BMW CM has been a staple of this forum, and for the past 2 years, at least, has been this place's single most added value apart from the fine quality of some of its more esteemed members.

To judge the "usefulness" or "integrity" or even downright "humanity" of the people behind CM at the impulse of some of the newer members who have not been part of this community for any substantial time, or at the the impulse of other members who by no right are "better" than eni or both scotts at what they criticize them is downright shameful.

BMW CM, eni, and the scotts, as forum members, abiding by the rules one agrees upon on signng up have fll right to participate in any discussion be it concerning the nature of the universe or the quality of air used in fiat punto tires. and the fact that none of them has shown a 100% negative stance towards other products/brands than BMW makes their input all the more valuable to me.

if any members feel offended by what eni, scott or any other member for what it matters is saying, in my opinion, he should either ignore the poster alltogether or just leave the forums. as long as no rules are broken in a post, whatever its content or style may be their is no reason to judge except on the quality of the content and that judgement is reserved to the reader.

their are members who fill hundreds of posts per day of almost completely useless dribble and yet not a single person complains or utters a single remark. whereas eni and scott almost always spark some of the more interesting debates on this forum, i would hate to see that change just so that a couple of newbies or fanboys get a high from sticking one up to them.

of course it is also imperative to say that it is true the nature and style of eni's remarks have changed off late to a more aggressive "blunt" tone, that is his style, if it doesn't infringe on the rules, i don't find a problem with it. sensitive hearts, do not read eni, plaster a PG13 sticker on him.

why should aggressiveness be judged and not stupidity?

finally about the info channel, if the mods are OK with it being in existence, scott and eni haters just keep out of it, why bring the fight out of your turf?
