![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Honestly, the propaganda is good for a laugh or two. I don't put too much thought into it though, because you can't change the narrow-minded. It's not exclusive to the BMW CM marketing team - it extends across all sorts of brands, from all sorts of individuals. Regardless of my extreme dislike - I'd like for them to stay. Opinions are afterall, what makes a community a community. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Why criticise Scott27 and Eni? They are sent here to spread the good words of their employer (BMW). I think their participation in this forum can play a constructive role by communicating our ideas, wishes, and suggestions to the powers-that-be at BMW. See it as a silent dialogue between us and BMW. Some of us get a little passionate and irrational (juvenile even) in supporting our respective beloved marque. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I didn't really like the old scott but that was never a problem cause i learned since carspyshots to skip all the meaningless stuff he spread, but on the other hand the new one is much more humble and concrete in his talk, he somehow restored some of my faith in the scott legend . Anyway i have a much bigger appreciation for Eni cause he's a smart guy and not a BMW employee meaning you can speak with him as any other member here, he isn't the robot that scott is. Of course he will always defend the BMW product approach and stratgies and that sometimes makes his argumentation filled with some bad faith, hypocrisy or contradiction but that's the case of everyone here, we are all at some extent blind and hypocrite fanboys, but the difference is that some can be more credible than others and this is why Eni pisses the other so much, i don't believe one second it's because he's supposedly spreading crap on all the threads, the ones saying such things are the first ones to do it, but they do it in a much more chilidish and simplistic way, so why denying Eni a right that every one else has and over use ? But something that Eni should change is to control him self better, i know that facing always the same chilidish crap and the sensation to be speaking to a wall is quite frustrating but neverthless debate should always be polite. What i propose is not to remove them from the mod position of the CM section but to add another mod to them, and all contreversial decisions will then have to gain unanimity before being taken. CM is an unique feature that, like it or not, is a mega + to this forum, it's somesort of silent seamless dialogue with one of the most powerful and hottest compagnies in this planet, so all in all, yes CM should stay.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm not a BMW fan. But I value the input of EnI and Scott. They give us a peak into BMW's internal functionning, inform us early about the projects, give us hints about the design of future Beemers, and explanations about sopme choices. Of course, some of the marketing talk around it can be annoying, but it's easy to see between the lines and to separate the good from the bad in those informations. I think the pro are far bigger than the cons, as you don't have to believe every single word coming from any member of the forum. The CM team is no exception: some things you agree with, some things you don't. Simple as that. If you ban the CM team because some of their posts are not your taste, not objective enough, then you should ban every single member here. We all are subjective and all sometimes talk crap, this is perfectly natural.

![]() | The problem ... some ppl may be forgot they one way or another .. if Scott or Eni or whoever stopped participating, we will be left in the dark with no hint of BMWs future which is not true .. the news spread from other places like auto blogs and other sources .. recently they tend to promote BMW regardless of the relation of the thread ... and many missleading info .. hence I'd rather see an actual output or a test mule in our case rather than just talks that is based on just "birdie" or a "casual staff meeting" .... honestly I've been dissappointed by this CM thing rather more than happy .. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Scott can stay if he posts only in BMW sections. No need to go to other threads outside BMW section and post how much better BMW are than the competition, we, BMW fans, are doing that job on our own. ![]() And Eni, you have to control your emotions and not taking it personal and being rude to members or telling them to switch brand if they dont like what BMW are doing. I understand its not easy sometimes but show us your mature side. Eni, you are a member like anyone else, you have the same rights as us so you are entitled to express your opinion but do it what majority of the members do, meaning in a good, positive way. Scott having his own section is no problem, if you guys dont like what he is writting in his channel, then avoid that section. And those few members who are against Eni/Scott, read between the lines and dont take their words literally. You decide what you want to believe in. All in all, if Scott posts only in BMW sections and Eni show us his good side and try to understand not everyone approve what BMW are doing, then GCZ will be fine.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I am all in for CM! It's one of the things that makes this forum great. All that info, and things to talk about. It's just fantastic. And from time to time, some pieces of valuable information. All you need is to use your miind to filter the amount of info here. And we also need better manners from everyone. Not only CM, but from those who are attacking it, as well. As for EnI, I am totally convinced he is one of the most valuable members of this community, and one of the most enigmatic. If you can see what's CM and what's EnI's knowledge, info, and opinions, then everything is fine. Personally, I have learned a lot of things from this guy, and I have to admit that he really nows a lot about (car) brands marketing!![]()
