That's loooooooong and appears to be a 2+2 grand tourer as opposed to a sports car. Mitsubishi Lancer's evil twin?

We told you - myself , Eni and T that we will be moving forward with some radical design changes to traditional BMW design elements .
And we were serious.
But as a guide for the future we have been talking about and talking about Gran Turismo concepts you are looking at a precursor to the BMW 6er GT. Note the four doors.

That confirms my initial suspicion although I was a bit unsure about suspecting it for a four door coupe because I couldn't see the rear door cut-line through the cover. I'm eager to see the curiosity evoking front-end which seem to feature a revolutionary BMW fascia.

Is this 3er GT or 6er GT?

It looks like a 1:1 presentation model - one of the final desings presented to the board in real life - usually taken to some outside location. Both final (or rarely three of them) designa, and then the Board decides which one will be picked for production.

But ... is the the winning design?

What I find weird & radical (not the grille - since we all knew it was coming sooner or later) but the absence of true Hoffmeister kink.

Usually the Board makes product & design decisions on meeting just before big autoshows (Geneva & Frankfurt / Paris).

if you look closely you will notice a true hoffmeister kink, but there is a 3d recession flowwing form it to the shoulder line into the C- pillar. the hoff is very abrupt, look closely it is there

Aha but if you look closer you can see that when the door opens the hoffmeister is plain to see in the shape of the frameless glass , when closed it is encased in a hollowed out scuplture in the C-Pillar.
Everybody is now adding the Hoffmeister kick to their cars Lexus is certainly guilty of the immitation of the typical BMW look , it is only right that BMW should progress the design element whilst keeping the character and the appearence of a typical BMW design element.

Also: it reminds me a lot of Hussein's BMW designs / CGIs (3er, Lightnes project).

Hussein, any thoughts?
