Re: "1ntensified Performance Orientation"

In a totally seperate conversation from this topic.

In one corner you have the M1 - A BMW supercar from the 1970's a product of the angular era of design . And with it years of tradition and history in it's achievements . People claim that BMW do not wish to seperate the badge from it's iconic status to something relevant today.

So where you cannot have an M1 you can have a 1-M. Just as there is a Z4-M.

135d ??? ??? j/k

The most intriguing question: will the Concept be based on one of the existing 1er bodies, or introducing a new one (eg. a compact 2-seater: roadster / coupe / shooting brake). Or even more important: what engine will it feature.

Re: "1ntensified Performance Orientation"

I wish it s an M version of the 1er coupe or hatch doesn t matter to me.

But i guess it will be a dissapointment and we will see some fuel efficient car with some hp.

No i want my hair set on fire flames comming out the exhaust tire schredding horsepower agile handling. wide wheel arches big brakes light weight. Limited slip diff mechanical no electronic shit. A real drivers car again from bmw.

But i quess it will be a dream always a dream.

^ But and active differential would be even better then a limited slip version.
Add to that 4 wheel steering, active suspensions, movable aerodynamics (rear spoiler a la 911/SLR ), a NA engine that loves high reving, all in a light aero efficient package.

What, hmmm, just dreaming.
