Wow, that looks pretty small after sitting in the 7er long wheelbase I was amazed at the amount of space. The w221 should have the same or more leg space right?

Looking at that picture just reminds me of how low rent the W220 interior was... All that plastic on the doors from the houring of the doorhandle, to the ashtray and below area.... So nice to see them up the W221, but still sad to know the W220 could have been even better...

Yes I am talking only about the rims and the bumpers.

The longwheelbase W221 has 2 more inches of space in the back compared to the w220, which always seemed less than cavernous compared to its larger rivals.

I would agree the W221 is a bit more appealing. But keep in mind my W220 does not have the 4 Zone Climate control or the Adjustable Rear Seats which helps enrich the overall picture with more wood and the window control panels on the doors. The center pulldown has the TV controls which also provides more wood and a richer looking interior. I might also mention the dramatic lighting used by MB enhances the appearance a great deal.

Just want to make sure we are comparing apples to apples...

The S-Class test rollout continues.....here it is the S350. They say the V6 feels strained under the new S-Class' weight, but other than that everything else is world beating.
