Ground affect? Are you talking aerodynamics or something else?
I ment the same AMG kit design. The SL55 for example has a different AMG kit compared to it`s bigger brother the SL65. The 65s are the "cream of the crop" in the AMG line. Thay should have their own distinguishing looks compared to other AMG models.

I haven't studied the design head to head yet but the S65 has melted together exhaust tips. That's a way to seperate the big daddy at least.
