It's been a nominal morning for Mercedes news, so to the pass the time a bit I decided to head over to Mercedes' website to see if there was anything interesting I could share with you, my beloved readers.

While there, I stumbled upon a photo montage showcasing the 2007 Mercedes S-Class in various stages of design. Sure you know what the new S-Class looks like, but have you ever wondered how it arrived at its current form?

That would be a very interesting place to work - I wonder if these guys have to take an oath .....or is it like the Mafia ........"if you tell anybody what we're working on here, then you, your family, everyone you've even known will.....", well you get the picture

if they dont take the oath they should.. lol

Great article and pix Alex. I might have ran over this info before. I did a thorough study of the W220 S-Class when it came out. The design work on that car was really extensive.

I think I like the sketch of the W221's interior a little better than the production one :
