I could explain the excessive bodyroll, too...they are testing a new type of suspension:
I saw this documentary too, and it was really impressive. You saw a W221 passing a bump, of course the body of the carmoved. Then the F700, at the same low speed, and here the car did not move at all, the suspension made the big bump fully disappear.
Really impressive.
Reminds me of the Bose suspension that was presented few years ago. But it had no road scanner, and the Bose suspension had absolutely no "negative suspension" from what I saw, and it only could handle a bump, not a hole in the road. But really an impressive comfort, no bodyroll but the suspension was really really soft and comfortable. The F700 gives the same impression, very soft but without too much bodyroll...
I think the next S-Class (would be a too short test period for the FL W221, no?) will have a revolutionary suspension system
