Oh and the pre-FL S600 W220 has a normally-aspirated 6.0 V12 which only produces 360 Bhp. That's a deficit of 30 Bhp less than the S600 W140, but then again the W220 is lighter than the W140, so it's just as fast as the panzer tank W140.

Thing is though, the FL S600 W220 has the same 5.5 V12 Twin-turbo of the Maybach; but Mercedes detuned from 550 Bhp to 495 Bhp for W220. And the result was a very fast car indeed!

The pre-FL S55 AMG had a normally aspirated 5.4 V8 producing 360 Bhp. The FL S55 AMG has the same 5.4 Supercharged V8 of the SL 55 AMG. The S65 AMG W220 has the same 6.0 Twin-turbo V12 of the current S65 AMG W221. There was a very rare S63 AMG based on the pre-FL W220.
