Mercedes-Benz S-Class fans rejoice!
The Mercedes-benz S-Class has been ranked
"The Highest in Initial Quality among Premium Luxury Cars" by JD Power!

The W126 S-Class did it in 1991 now the W221 has done it in 2007!!. There shouldn`t be any doubt about the quality efforts Mercedes-benz has put into the S-Class.



Of course this is a tie with the Audi A8, both these cars are top rated.
Audi fans should rejoice as well!

Mine too, its like we're living in a dream with the W221. Not only has it proved to be a quality piece, but it has wiped the floor with the competition in nearly every contest. Most importantly it has throughly trounced the LS in all its forms. I almost can't believe it. I mean really to start out being more reliable than the LS and killing it in the comparo tests, I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Now the hard part, Consumer Reports. When they publish their 2008 data it will be on the 2007 models and then we'll see whats what, truly. If the 2008 and 2007 S and E get their recomendation for 2008 then we'll truly have reason to celebrate. This JDP stuff is a start, but "we" have to impress CR too. They love Mercedes vehicles for the most part, but won't recommend them because of previous failings. Lets hope this will change for 2008.

I don't what I'll do if the new C-Class starts to repeat all this success.
