At least give us a good reason why. If you were in the market for this car I think it`s a fantastic choice against the S600 considering it`s $17.200 cheaper. (and some $67,000 cheaper than the S65! *price quotes from MBusa.com) on top of that it`s an AMG which all MB cars lust after and want to be.
If I were top get an S-Class this would be my top choice, no doubt about it! | | | | | Me for President

lOl, no doubt about it. OT I was just wondering how many of you think you could handle a car like the S63 (or S65) with all that weight (pushing 5000lbs.)
and power! I think the chill factor would come up in some of your faces when speeds reach 100 plus mph. The feeling that it can just get out from under you would scare the crap out of some folks in a car like this, no joking. 186mph must really feel like something else in these cars. | | | | | Enthusiast

As a former S-Class driver and current CL63 owner, I have a few (US) comments.
The price differential between the S63 and the S600 is not as substantial as imagined, with the 600 including all available options and the 63 minimally needing $10k to be "reasonably well equipped".
The S600 is certainly quicker, but without the option availability of the AMG sport package, it just isn't as good looking. (IMO). Also in the US, the better leather interior of the 600 is also unavalable on the 63.
The CL63 is a great sounding car, and as a coupe I feel that the sound matches the car. I am not sure that a 4 door limo like sedan (S63) is the right match for what sounds like a NASCAR V8 under full throttle . Obviously, this is a subjective opinion, but the relatively quiet power of the V12 just seems more appropriate. The 63 wins hands down with brakes and suspension, but here again is the S-Class really a twisties type car? | | | | | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to MBZFAN For This Useful Post: | | | The Photo Phanatic

It's still a luxury cruiser at heart and the AMG modifications serve a number of purposes, mainly giving the car better handling, visual sportiness and quicker agility, yet the true character of the S-Class still remains.
And you sir have a sexy car! CL63 AMG!? | | | | | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to cawimmer430 For This Useful Post: | | | Enthusiast

I have never been more pleased with a Mercedes - superb quality, supercar performance and fun, fun, fun ! Speaking of "thanks", thank you for your gorgeous photography and incisive reviews & comments. You should submit your resume to Mr. Davis at Winding Road ! | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to MBZFAN For This Useful Post: | | | The Photo Phanatic
