Well, either the end of this week or the beginning of the the nest I will be saying goodbye to my S550. It was a great 17 month experience. The S is the best mass produced luxury car in the world (my opinion of course) and I will miss it's grace and class. However, time marches on an now I try another of Mercedes Benz's best, the GL550. With the same engine/transmission combination I am sure I will not be disappointed. And you can bet there will be many pictures posted in the coming months. Here is a shot I took yesterday of the S (was unable to get to the car wash) and it is still a looker and some kind of automobile.  |

GOODBYE great looking S 550!! I still love your white S-Class and it's sad, that you will not be able to take shots of this beautiful car anymore. Nevertheless, I can't wait to see your new GL 550...  |

I am very sad to see the S go, and I think you will be yourself too, after a few months with the GL.. I think the S is a much better car. |

Ahh farewells are so sad but necessary... (I'll say goodbye to my workhorse W210 soon) Glad you made up your mind and you know what your next car is. Many happy miles in your new GL NevadaJack! |
