There are certain features I will miss on the S but I don't think the S is "a much better car" than the GL necessarily. The S is the top of it's class as a sedan and the GL it at the top of it's class as an SUV. It depends on what suits your needs and wants. I enjoyed the experience of the S Class and now I am sure I will enjoy the experience of the GL Class. In a couple of more years I will probably be looking for another MB to play with...:-)

i think you will miss the sclass command..the gl command is the older sytsem...i actaully dont understand why mb hasent put the new command in the gl...

Thanks. I agree on the COMAND. The GL has the system I had on the '06 S430. I don't imagine they will update the COMAND in the GL until they have a major facelift or new model.

Congrats on your new car. But please, before it goes, give us another picture of the interior lighting at night! Please!
