![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes , both Coupe and DropHead Coupe have been approved for production. There is also plans for a Roadster based off a shorter version of the platform and a Super luxury CS type both of which are under discussion. No super V16 hypercar though that is insane. We had the car in London for a photo shoot and as you know thanks to members here that London has a reputation for Phantoms and other cars of it's kind. No one probably seen the car as this was about 2am in the morning at Canary Wharf. Did see a few Maybachs including one completely blinged out mess with Arab plates with one of those extra large V shaped spoilers on the rear bootlid you just had to point and laugh. As are the number of previous generation and current Opel (Vauxhall) Corsa's that look like they might take off if they get up to enough speed. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Clever. Canary Wharf is all banks and investment firms making it one of the busiest places in London during mornings, but at 2am it's absolutley dead as mortals have nothing to do there at that time. Very smart place and time to shoot. Look forward to those images and it would be even better if the car will be present at the Canary Wharf motorshow as I work for press. I do have a press access to the Geneva car show but unable to attend due to some other business. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The interior is BEAUTIFUL. Very simple looking but the rear lights have to grow on me, I think it's a little big. I liked the phantom's real lights.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just my feeling. Not bad, but not breathtaking either. Certainly better than the Phantom and its twisted, bended side looking like the middle of the car is going to break. Certainly better than the Maybach and its previous-gen-Merc look. Certainly better than the aged Arnage. But miles away from the Arnage LWB, my absolute favourite. I don't like the interior, though, the Phantom and especially the Arnage have a clear lead on this part. Kinda "van-ish" somehow, and certainly too heavy. The Phantom's is heavy, too, but its rigidness compensates that in making it imposing. I won't even mention the somptuousness of the pre-Spirit Rolls... What is this car compared to a Silver Cloud (quite "entry-level" Rolls back then)? You got it, nothing. Nothing at all. Quite boring car, actually. For me at last.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | At least there's two of us. I'm surprised about the enthusiastic response over this car. It's not ugly, but it looks like a baby Phantom, which makes it seem (keyword) like a 'conservative' and almost 'budget restricted' effort by Rolls-Royce. That's always been the problem with the Gallardo (hardtop), for instance, or the Vantage, SLK, 308 GT4, etc. They seem like the lesser siblings of other cars. The type of car you get because you don't have the money for a flagship, not because you want the car for itself. -- The F430, 360, DB9, Continental, etc. never had this problem. I'm sure most people would disagree.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | eh whatever is my reaction. The front isn't very graceful or classic looking and the interior is quite uninspired, un-fluid and confusing... The rear looks like a rover. just not a great design on the inside and door panels are plain, the carpeting isn't the usual thick RR carpeting on no mirrors in the back C pillar. The gauges also look cheap and not very RR. Overrated if you ask me.
