But the FS is the cheapest Bentley saloon ever - I don't think BMW need to compromise the carefully cultivated image of Rolls-Royce by so obvioulsly and directly competing against Bentley - afterall, a Rolls-Royce is supposedly in a "league of it's own".

BTW - what does the FS truly offer that the S class and 7er don't?

When you get into a Bentley / Rols Royce there is a different status thing going on at that point, otherwise its not a biggie.

I'm sure if this goes into production it's supposed to go against the GT but for some reason they just don't compete, in the looks department anyway... GT is supposed to be sporty, but this Phantom coupe is just the epitomy of a grand tourer.

Whether that's good or bad, I have no idea

Well this probably will not go in to production because it's just some person's private PS - but it is interesting anyway.

Very slick PS. Hmmm the divider is indeed very old fashion but I don't like it, it looks too bulky. Beside that I think that divider should have some curtain if for example the passanger don't want to be seem doing dirty stuff with a misstress. Since this is the RR phantom that can probably be arranged in some way.
