Of course I'm only talking about the Western world. In China for example if you have money you're ought to show it (as you very well know).
When you are a sultan or a BILLIONaire, there's very very few ways to hide it so... might as well.

It's still a pretty low number. I doubt they'll have problems selling those cars.

Just to belabour the point the new RR04 is not , repeat not a Competitor for the Bentley Continental series a favourite of bankers and traders who have been affected within the economic climate but will be positioned further from these models.

Whichever way the economic climate goes there will still be a market for the RR04. Especially because it is new and will reflect the owners status especially for wealthy owners.

Sales might at first be marginally small to begin with but like the Phantom when additional models such as the DropHead and Coupe came on stream even now in the current economic crisis there are still sales.
RR04 is not about volume just as Rolls-Royce is not about volume again it is more about exclusivity and status. and no matter what appears on the horizon someone will still pay for this exclusivity.

Due to my "Dawn of a new era" campaign (I will eventually tell you the reason why this term -Eni knows...) I have been asked to overlook the 102EX and eventually the RR04 media campaigns.

Yet all depends on global economic situation in the next years.

Good. 1000 is quite a modest number that isn't high enough for the car to be affected by severe dips in the economy. 3000-4000 would definitely have been disastrous in the times were living in right now. Bentley are taking a huge hit from the moderately mass produced CGT and Flying Spur.
