Who the hell is Mansory, and why are they inflicting this upon us?

I just checked out their site. It shits me that they manage to touch up other cars (bentleys and astons), without making them look like a big pile of metal shit, but they come across the Phantom and just destroy any elegance the car has.

They're trying to force sport into a car that isn't MEANT to look sporty.
I mean, what were they thinking?! Were they thinking at all?!

Masonry is a German tuner who specialize in modifying British cars like Aston Martin, Bentley, Range-Rover, and now Rolls-Royce.

I do agree with what you are saying voriax ...but Rolls-Royces have always been modified. There are many examples of bad taste in Rolls-Royce's history. Being such a prestigious brand which has always encouraged individual expression has meant that some very wealthy customers have really let their imaginations go wild .....and the results have not always been successful. I guess at the highest level of the market, good taste is not really an issue.

This Mansory Conquistador is not at all out of step with Rolls-Royce really -- there will always be very wealthy people with no taste who will go nuts for a car like this.

Whoever does something like that to a Rolls-Royce should be shot immediately. Period.




What kind of guys work as "designers" in such "tunning / customizing" companies? 13-year old teenagers?

Is there a thread about most hideous customized cars (by a company, not an individual)?

As I said above Eni, Rolls-Royce has always been open to different interpretations. Some are successful ...like this:
