This is the idea BMW are working to with Rolls-Royce.
Ask yourself? If the Phantom is a modern day interpretation of classic Rolls-Royce ? What would a Rolls-Royce for the future look like?
Some of the cues of the chosen process are evident here from the wider temple grille and raked front end to the sleek shallow glass area.
But it will be a radical departure from the look of the Phantom.
A convertible and coupe will follow with some ideas even promoting a 4dr convertible which might not see the light of day although some designers did come away from the Mercedes Ocean drive concept enthusiastic with it's ideas.
Whilst Maybach managers could only look unhappy with the praise the Phantom drop head received.
Cncerning industry rumours All bets are leading to Mercedes-Benz's concept at this years Frankfurt IAA to be badged as a Maybach to kickstart their stagnant brand.
