Never heard of people saying the Cayenne was needless when it came out. What's the difference here? | | | | | Me for President

R63 AMG? ***???
Someone said it already, better to spend that money on something more useful than building a 510hp VAN. | | | | | Advocate

You got me wrong guys. Or maybe I did.
The question is what do you need a 500HP SUV for? or what do you need a Sports Tourer (It's not a van, but that an other topic) with 500HP for?
The point is that the market is full of such "needless" cars, but depite that they sell like hot cakes. So it looks like there are indeed people who need such cars. | | | | | Executive

i have to agree with hussein.. i have driven the cayenne turbo.. allthough it has 450hp it wasent a thrill to drive it..
so its pretty needless..
just as this car..
so i guess its all about the large quantity of engine options for the customer.. its alway a good thing.. | | | | | GCZ's High Court

Today, when you produce a 500hp SUV you can be sure there's market for that, but here, we're talking about VAN/Sport Tourer, however you want, and thet's something completely new, something that noone has done before (500hp version i mean).
Show off only, imo, no good reason.... | | | | | GCZ's High Court

Show off only, imo, no good reason.... | "Enough" is quite relative here. AMG have surly calculated the amount of potencial costumers. And I agree with you that it can't be high. The R-class generally isn't a car for the wide mass, so how about the AMG version?
Saying that it's needless is a big exaggeration. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
