So, Mercedes start a new advertisement campaign. This was in our newspaper (the paper above has the dimension of two DIN A4 papers - so you can imagine, how big the large one is... )... "Think at the first car, that overawe you" - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER "The old way of showing representation, sovereignty, stateliness..."
--- "It's time, to change your mind..." - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER "The new way of showing size: representative, sovereign, handsome and timeless, elegant and extremely dynamic..." | | | | | The Following 3 Users Say Thank You to ree For This Useful Post: | | | GCZ's High Court

Well, i guess they've failed with that new way of showing size...
Sorry, i just had to...
Plus, i think they screwed up big time with using that old Benz as reference car. That car was something and will never be forgotten, while R class... I know many true MB enthusiasts that wish it never saw the light of the day. | | | | | Executive

I have to agree that the comparison is quite lame. It gives an impression that MB is ready to do anything to get some publicity for their R-Class. | | | | | GCZ's High Court

You can't compare an R-Class to a Pullman. Which advertising company came up with this bull? And which executive at MB agreed to it?
I saw this too in my latest Auto Motor und Sport. I didn't think too much of it then, but I did think about it afterwards and it's a dumb comparison.
Give me the 600 anyday. | | | | | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to cawimmer430 For This Useful Post: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | |
