* the front is just so much more agressive! Hallelujah for the new grille whitout the black strap, and hallelujah for the big air intakes.
* Hallelujah for the LED's in the front, as in the S6.
* the mirrors look better too
* love the white in the rear lights!

They really gave the Q7 all that the pre-facelifted model was missing, to really make it "PHAT".
Yeah, I really think it looks a lot better now too. But I don't think this is a facelift at all. This is an exclusive for this V12 right?

The torque is weak for a 6.0L Diesel, the consumption is nice though.

Re: Q7 V12 TDI - official pics & info!

Like ML63 AMG & Cayenne Turbo S this Q7 V12 TDI is a image-maker, and a very low-volume seller.

It will also be very expensive.

US market: I hope the engine fits CA, NY, MA etc exhaust standards otherwise there is no point of offering this car in US.

gearbox not strong enough, just like the case why S65 torque is limited?

I'm sure engine is capable of even more torque output, but the gearbox is the weakest point here ...

Re: Q7 V12 TDI - official pics & info!

Mind that Q7 needs attention ... It's a new SAV in a flood of SAVs ... With V12 500HP / 1000Nm diesel engine it will definitely get a huge attention (especially if sold in US as well)... Good for Q7 & Audi image ... Nice move, Audi.

Now I'm eager to see what BMW will do ...

The problem is that they are putting their bets on X6 now - so X6 M will get the V10 S85 petrol M engine.

While X5 is going to get "iS" version only - with upcoming V8 bi-turbo.

But both models will get a new V10 diesel.

Anyway ... kuddos to Audi / VAG for showing us again who is a diesel master.

But do not forget the competition is not far behind ...

Not out of nowhere. Audi was said to be preparing a V12 engine for Audi R8. It's just that noone expected Q7 to be the first to use it.

Any info about the car's weight?

Something like 3 tons?

Impact on handling & braking?
