Q7 selling like butter... - 08-11-2006, 11:02 AM

I was in my local Audi dealer yesterday, getting my papers for the Top-of-the-line week, where I'll be one of them that gets to drive Audi's top models RS4-S8-Q7-S6 and the new TT.
And I looked at the parking lot, and there was like 80% of the cars were Q7's!! The car is a major succe here in Sweden. The Audi dealer told me that last week for example they sold more Q7's then A6's.

And omg is that car hot or what!? It looks 10 times better irl then in pictures.

The reason the car is selling like butter is because it's new and do I even have to reminds you that the X5 will hit the dealers in a couple of months?
The X5 will definitely affect Q7 sales.

I was actually curious about Q7 sales... since I don't see many on the roads here.

In Finland, during the first seven months of the year, the Q7 has sold about half as much as the ML but more than the X5 and X3 combined.

I see a lot of them on the roads here in Sweden, however Q7 isnt my favorite SUV and Im not fond of how it looks like. I like Audis expect for A3 and Q7. BTW Q7 is huge

but the most comon SUV in Sweden is X5 and X3 seem to be popular as well

That's logical. X5 has been on the market for 7 years and Q7 for 6 months.

I dislike the back a lot, and noone I know really likes the car.

Different folks different strokes I guess.

Finnish people do not like BMW SUVs? Or could that be because the new X5 is right around the corner, and the facelifted X3 hasn't hit the dealerships yet (or has it, I haven't seen it yet)

I have only seen one in person, and it was very bland. Not my favorite SUV externally, in fact thats to put it nicely... I think they strayed too far from the Pikes Peak concept and should have left it looking like that.

As for the interior.... Very impressive! Especially for an SUV.

Kinda looks like a Chrysler Pacifica more that it does an SUV...

I know but since the start of X5 and X3 they have always been top-selling SUVs in Sweden.
