Βoth the new Polo and Golf show that the cost saving era that spawn average quality products (for VW's stantards) like the Passat , Golf+ and Tiguan is now over.

Way better than Golf. Actually there is no need for Golf anymore.

bring this car to the us and price is around civic and corola then it's game over for everyone.

if, for marketing's sake, they develope a hybrid system for this car, then it's game over for prius as well.

what a great looking car.

Look what we got here, a Polo that is more attractive than the Golf. I wonder what VAG are trying to do here as it almost seem like they are trying to turn the Polo into the "new Golf". I've seen the latest Golf on the roads, it's attractive but doesn't look sporty because of the upright rear and boring tail light design.

This on the other hand is a highly attractive car, love how it looks in silver. The GTI version should be a delight, and those Scirroco-ish cues are very welcomed. I give this car 3 thumbs up. Here's the money shot:

It does look very good, I really like it! It has a very clean design, all the lines flow very nicely. And those wing mirrors look nice too.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the other hand I'm relieved that VW finally replaces the current Polo which feels like it has been on the market for something like 12 years. But on the other hand I'm not impressed by this new one. It must be one of very few cars that actually look old before they are on sale. There are some details on this new Polo that give an impression it's not "German Volkswagen" but rather a product from VW South America.

The interior seems decent for its class, nothing too fancy was expected anyway. The rear end on the other hand is as bland and vertically flat as can be. A far cry from the stylish and sexy rear of the Scirocco (or even Golf VI). Actually the whole exterior is very bland and dated and reminds me of 90's VW design language. I wish they had been more imaginative than this. All the surfaces on the car are just so flat and boring...

I wasn't exactly expecting it to blow me away but I don't think I was being unreasonable when I expected it to be more exciting than VW Caddy.

Much better than what i expected, this is exactly how a vag should look, clean, simple elegant & modern yet not boring & dull. My only concern is once again the central console which could have been lowered a bit.

I actually quite like this car. the design is very crisp and well proportioned. Good job VW. Of course, the interior could be designed a little differently, it's like I've been looking at that interior for YEARS.

I do have to admit that the rear lights are a bit too weak.
