I like classic rock, alternative, hip hop, reggae,R&B, Trance, I like that ATB dude from Germany. Pretty open, so long as it gets a great beat and vibe.

Maybe this is easier currently in my CD changer:

New Sean Paul CD, Hot 97 Request line Vol.6, ATB, The Police, Culture Club (Best of), and a mix of classic rock CD.

I'm pretty open to all kind of music too....
I'd usually listen to the radio when I'm driving. I listen to all major radio stations here in NY (95.5 WPLJ, HOT 97, Z100, KTU, POWER 105.1 and 106.7 LITE FM)..
It's hard to floor the pedal here whenever a good song comes on.....
My favorite artists these days include K. West's, Rob Thomas, The Black Eyed Peas, Bon Jovi, Green Day, Akon, G. Stefani and more.
Oh, and you gotta love Shakira's "La Tartora", even though I don't understand it

Prodigy is awesome, takes the cake for driving music as does electrnoica - last I bought was Ministry of Sound Annual 2005, TONS of great road thrashing tunes

Interesting thing about driving music for me...

The heavier it is and the harder I drive, the more lairy and hooligan my driving style becomes, with consequences mainly on tyre wear .
So, Linkin Park and Lost Prophets are awesome but at the cost of some seriously fluffy tyre shoulders. I find that I drive smoother and corner quicker when I'm not rushing things so the less than hard-core stuff is better suited to a clinical drive.

I have a couple of favourites - both singles and full albums that really get me in the mood for a good drive (in no particular order...) :

Chicane - Behind the Sun (brilliant for a midnight dash down to the coast)

Razorlight - Up all Night (stunning in-car atmosphere for any situation)

Knoc'turnal - My Music (I always think of the Transporter movie with this one)

Cool. It's pretty old, but Chicane's "Behind the Sun" album is probably one of my current favourites. I found it recently after wanting some of the songs on it for a while, and it's turned out well.

You're right there Snake, Behind the Sun is pretty old but I reckon it's got classic status written all over it... It has to be one of the defining works in the all too generic trance genre. A stunning blend of trance undertones with more traditional musical themes. Timeless imo.
