I just noticed that Mirage GT has Brembo callipers, which is odd...The
standard Carrera GT uses a brake system set up by SGL.

It does but Porsche doesn't advertise the fact that the Ceramic brake technology which is used in modern applications (997, 996 and Carrera GT) is made by a German company "SGL". SGL also provides the ceramic brakes found on the Brabus EV12 and CLS V12 Rocket.

I can't 100% confirm it but i had heard Mercedes-AMG is using Brembo's brakes, can anyone confirm this..?

Slightly off topic, but Porsche also has eight suppliers for their carbon fibre parts.
